AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU): Your dog must pass all 10 items in an urban setting in order to pass. Canine Good Citizen: AKC Trick Dog is a fun and popular certification for both dogs and their owners! Some pets prefer staying home, and that is totally okay! Our background checked, highly trained and Pet CPR certified sitters will come to your house to care for your pet(s) while you are away. In-Home Overnight Care Some pets, like people, are homebodies. Enjoy peace of mind on vacation while our background checked and Pet CPR certified sitters care after your home and pets. Our professional In-Home services are designed to cater to our community while giving Scout's Honor employees opportunities to supplement their pay. In-home services are gig jobs . they are not assigned. 97% of in-home reservations are accepted Pet Sitters earn: 70% C ommission 100% Tips Requirements: Book 2-4 weeks in advance. All pets must be vaccinated against rabies before the Meet & Greet. Meet & Greets with your in-home sitter before the reservation are complimentary and required. Base Rate: $120/night book now Pet Sitters bring in mail, waters plants, and does other daily household tasks within reason. Pet Sitters can leave for up-to eight hours at a time to go to the grocery, gym, school, and/or work. A TNC crate is a custom, indestructible crate designed for dogs that are highly destructive or experience significant anxiety. Our approach aligns with Fear Free principles, prioritizing your dog’s emotional well-being and minimizing stress during their stay. During peak boarding times, if our cabins are fully booked, we may ask if you’re comfortable having your dog stay in a TNC crate. Your dog would only be in the crate during meals and nighttime, and we use positive, stress-free techniques to help them feel safe and calm. We currently have 2 XL and 2 L TNC crates available. What should I bring for my dog’s boarding stay? Food: • All food must be brought in airtight containers or individually packaged meals. • Ensure your dog has enough food for their stay, plus an additional 2–3 days in case of travel delays or emergencies. Medication: • Provide enough medication for the stay, plus an additional 2–3 days. • Complete the medication form under your dog’s profile in our customer portal. Personal Items Permitted: • Beds • Blankets • Chews • Toys Personal Items Restricted: • Bowls (unless your dog requires a specific bowl to eat) • Excess food in large, unsealed bags (only bring food for the stay in airtight containers or individually packaged meals, plus 2–3 extra days) All personal items are cleaned and sanitized daily. The following is the requirements for the therapy dog program through MCHA: Accepting approach, taking food and being pet by friendly strangers Being around and settled around neutral and well-behaved dogs Startle responses: dropping, knocking something over. Both visual and auditory. Supervised Separation (Owner leaves dog with handler, assessing reaction.) Walking and interacting through crowds of people, such as approaching and petting.
