Why: Maintaining proper face hygiene helps dogs use their senses, reduces tear stains, and eliminates dirt and debris that could harm a dog's eyes.

Frequency: The frequency a dog should should have face treatments depends on breed or breed-mix. Small dogs, double coat dogs, doodles/poodles need their face tended to more often than large dogs with short coats. Dogs should have monthly facials and their eyes cleaned 2-4 times per day.

Why: Regular nail trims are vital to a dog's hygiene and wellness. Long nails create pain and pressure on a dog's joints causing them to display undesirable behaviors, like aggression.

Frequency: Dogs should get their nails trimmed every 4 weeks.

Why: Routine paw maintenance removes dirt and harmful substances and prevents the build-up of bacteria and infections.

Frequency: The frequency a dog's paws should be washed and moisturized depends on allergies, their environment, and their lifestyle. Indiana has harsh seasonal elements. In the summer, roads & sidewalks are hot and cause paw pads to becoming irritated and/or crack. In the winter, harmful substances are used to keep our roads & sidewalks to keep them clear of ice and snow.
